The tour goes out multiple times a day with pickup to and from New Orleans. As kayaking becomes more popular people are realizing what a great way it is to get out and explore nature. If you don’t want to be crowded on a boat full of 30 other tourists, and you want to be able to get out and see nature in a low impact manner while getting a little exercise at the same time, this is the trip for you! Our kayak swamp tours are still small groups, maxing out around 12 people. We don’t feed wildlife, and our kayaks don’t scare them away either. 3. Do I want to capture great images of the swamp?
If you are a wildlife or landscape photographer, then your answer to this question is most likely a resounding Yes! Our owner Josh has been photographing and exploring the swamp since he was a small child. The Louisiana swamps are nearly impossible to get good photographs of without a kayak or boat. We will put you in the right place at the right time to get the photos you are after. We have kayaks and small “go devil” mud boats that allow us to traverse all corners of the swamp. Unlike most photo workshops, we can run trips daily, and for a lower price point.
